Enphase Microinverter

The Enphase M215 is the world’s most efficient Microinverter.


Based on Enphase’s third generation technology, the M215 incorporates the latest innovations in power electronics and custom microchips to deliver 96% CEC efficiency and a range of patented performance features that maximize the performance of 60-cell solar module.

In addition, the M215 is lighter weight than the M190 and offers a “single-bolt” mounting bracket that makes installation even easier.

Why use Microinverters?
In a "conventional" solar PV system you will size and buy a "normal" inverter to convert the DC electricity the PV panels produce into AC electricity that your home or business use.

Scalable System - Reduces upfront costs
This mean you have to know how big a solar system you want to install now but also keep in mind that you might want to upgrade the size of the PV system sometime in the future. If you wish to install a 1 KW system now, you will need to buy an inverter that can handle 1 KW of PV panels, but if you think you might want a larger system in a couple years from now you either have to buy a larger Inverter now or just buy the 1 KW inverter and buy another when you decide to increase the system size.

The Enphase system are smaller inverters and each solar PV Panel you install has its own Microinverter. This means if you only install one PV panel then you only need one small Microinverter. Then for every Solar PV panel you install you simply add another Microinvertor.

This removes the need to decide now how big a PV system you might need years from now.

Built In Monitoring

The micro inverter is a modular system, each PV Panel you install works independently.

This means if one module stops working or you get shading on one panel then the rest of the system will keep working normally. With a "conventional" inverter if you get shading on one panel the performance of the rest of your PV system will drop to match the lowest output.

Jinko Solar has announced a new extended warranty. This industry leading warranty is a 10 year product warranty, along with a 25 year linear power warranty. Their new linear performance warranty will increase the nominal guaranteed power output by 5.47%.

This new 25 year linear power performance warranty guarantees Jinko Solar modules will maintain a performance of no less than 97% of the nameplate power output during the first year and the annual power decline will be no more than .7% from year 2 to 24. By the end of year 25, the actual power output will be no less than 80% of the labeled power output.
